Wow! What a year '08 was!

Sure, it had it's ups and downs, but overall it was a great year. We've seen some great stuff come out of the podcasting world this year, the biggest being the journey into video.
Being an audio guy, it's been an adjustment that I have be reluctant to make. I had the great opportunity to produce and co-host a live video show in '08, an experience
that I learned from, both personally and professionally.

What makes this "New Media" thing so great is the community built around it. I have met so many people, that otherwise I would not have ever met. That to me is what makes it
worth the effort. I have learned so much from them, and hopefully they've taken something from me as well. I look forward to that community continuing to grow in the
coming year as well.

Lastly, THANK YOU. When One Geek and a Microphone launched in '05, I never thought anyone would be listening. I was just a geek who loved audio production doing his
thing. But, then I started to meet some of my fellow GEEKS with MICROPHONES, and the rest is history.

So, here's to a GREAT '09, may it bring many geeks, microphones, and.....webcams?
